NYC Private Party & Celebration Photography
Private events are full of small interactions: friends arriving, conversations over a drink, a quick portrait together, and moments that happen away from the center of the room. After Hours Photo photographs the atmosphere and the people with warmth and an editorial eye.
A celebration that still feels like the people in it.
- Birthdays, dinners and private parties
- Cocktail receptions and terrace gatherings
- Candid interactions and small-group portraits
- The setting, details and celebration as it unfolds

Plan the coverage around your event.
Start with your date, location, schedule and the photographs you need. We will discuss guest count, access, key moments and how you intend to use the images. Justin will confirm availability, the photographer or team, and the proposed coverage before you book.
For photography and short-form films, mention both in the inquiry so the scope can be planned together. The consultation is a place to discuss the brief; it does not reserve event coverage.

Planning questions
Will you help guests who want a photograph together?
Yes. Coverage can combine candid moments with brief, directed portraits. Let us know if there are particular groups or family photographs you would like to make time for.
Can the coverage feel natural rather than posed throughout?
Yes. Share the atmosphere you want and the moments that matter. We can discuss how much direction you want and when to leave the gathering to unfold.
Does a consultation reserve the event date?
No. The 30-minute consultation is a planning call. Photographer availability, scope, pricing and the event booking are confirmed separately.
